E-Invoice & E-Waybill

Needs Iris GST portal onboarding beyond profile onboarding. Menu Sales → E-Invoice (`/invoice/e-invoices`) to create or generate from a Sales Invoice and cancel with a reason. Open E-Waybill from a Sales Invoice at `/invoice/e-waybill/:id`. Trial or plan limits may redirect to Subscription.

What is E-Invoice & E-Waybill?

E-Invoice & E-Waybill connect Billoxy to the Iris GST portal for IRN e-invoicing and e-waybills from sales invoices — this needs Iris onboarding beyond normal profile onboarding.

Where it lives

  • Menu Sales → E-Invoice — list at `/invoice/e-invoices`
  • E-Waybill from a sales invoice — `/invoice/e-waybill/:id`
  • Requires Iris GST portal onboarding (credentials / OTP) — separate from Simple Start / profile onboarding
  • Credentials and Generate IRN options in Settings → e-Invoice tab and Transaction settings
  • Source documents are Sales Invoice records
  • Trial / plan limits may redirect to Subscription

Recommended setup order

  1. 1Finish company profile / GSTIN via Simple Start and Settings → Company Info
  2. 2Complete Iris GST portal onboarding
  3. 3Confirm Settings → e-Invoice credentials and Transaction Generate IRN options
  4. 4Create or open a Sales Invoice, then generate E-Invoice / E-Waybill

Do not confuse PDF print of a GST invoice with e-Invoice IRN. Printing is layout; Iris e-Invoice is the portal IRN flow. See Settings for the e-Invoice tab.
