DesktopE-Invoice & E-Waybill
Needs Iris GST portal onboarding beyond profile onboarding. Menu Sales → E-Invoice (`/invoice/e-invoices`) to create or generate from a Sales Invoice and cancel with a reason. Open E-Waybill from a Sales Invoice at `/invoice/e-waybill/:id`. Trial or plan limits may redirect to Subscription.
Trial & Plan Limits
Trial and plan limits on e-Invoice / E-Waybill may redirect you to Subscription when you exceed allowance — upgrade or wait for plan reset as your license allows.
What happens at the limit
- Generating e-Invoice or related portal actions may hit trial / plan limits
- Billoxy may redirect to Subscription (`/subscription-plan`) so you can upgrade
- Other gated features (manufacture, AI, barcode) follow the same pattern — see Subscription
- Iris onboarding alone does not remove plan caps — both connection and plan must allow the action

If you are redirected
- 1Note which action was blocked (e-Invoice generate, etc.)
- 2Open Subscription → review plan features and add-ons
- 3Choose period and checkout if you need higher limits
- 4Return to `/invoice/e-invoices` and retry Generate
On trial, reserve e-Invoice tests for real GST-ready invoices so you do not burn limited IRNs on throwaway drafts.
