Two save paths

D

Save as Draft

Keeps status Draft — continue editing; reserve/convert usually wait until finalized per rules.

Create / Update

Finalizes the order (Approved path) — ready for share, Proforma, Convert to Sales Invoice.

From draft to finalized

  1. 1Filter list Status → Draft
  2. 2Open Edit (or View → Edit from preview)
  3. 3Complete lines, sales prices, Reserve if needed → Create / Update
  4. 4Toast confirms saved; status moves off Draft toward Approved / active

Edit locks & status

  • Some orders become non-editable after invoice/proforma links — banner explains why
  • Copy remains available to reorder without changing the locked original
  • Status progresses as you create relative Proforma/Invoice and complete fulfilment

Tip

Draft while quoting; Create when the customer confirms — then Proforma or Convert to Sales Invoice. Due-date reminders (WhatsApp / SMS / Email) help follow up around the order due date.
