Relative Proforma & Invoice

When a sales order already has a Proforma/Quotation or Sales Invoice, the preview shows those relative documents so you can open follow-ups without searching other lists.

How related docs appear

  • On Preview → More ⋮ or actions → Relative Proforma / Relative Quotation
  • On Preview → Relative Invoice (Sales Invoices raised from this order)
  • Shown whenever one or more related proforma/quotation or invoice documents exist for that order
  • Convert / Create Proforma CTAs may hide or limit when documents are already linked (per UI rules)
  • Mobile may label similar links as Related Documents

Relative Proforma and Relative Invoice keep the SO → quote/proforma → bill trail on one preview page.

Ideal check before converting again

  1. 1Open the sales order preview
  2. 2Open Relative Proforma — see quotes/proformas already issued
  3. 3Open Relative Invoice — see bills already raised
  4. 4Only create another document if partial billing or a new revision is required

What each relative link is for

P

Relative Proforma

Open proforma/quotation documents created from this order.

I

Relative Invoice

Open sales invoices already converted from this order.

S

Status

List status reflects invoiced vs still open after relative invoices exist.

Tip

After convert, check Relative Invoice and status — due-date reminders should no longer chase a finished order.

Frequently asked

Why don’t I see Relative Proforma?+

It appears after at least one Proforma/Quotation has been created from this order. Create Proforma from preview first.
