Menu Inventory → Items (`/definitions/items`). Define products and services with prices, units, HSN/SAC, GST, stock types, barcodes, Excel import, Items Library, Bulk Stock Adjustment, and Generate Sales Invoice from cards. Open item transaction history for movements.
Bulk Stock Adjustment & Opening
Select multiple items and open Bulk Stock Adjustment to add or reduce stock in one submit — ideal for opening balances after import or a warehouse count.
What bulk select unlocks
- Select rows on the Items list — floating actions appear
- Delete — remove selected masters
- Excel Export — download the selection
- Bulk Stock Adjustment — add or reduce stock for every selected product in one modal (also reflected under Stock movements)

Bulk Stock Adjustment flow
- 1On Items, tick the products you want to adjust
- 2Click Bulk Stock Adjustment on the floating bar
- 3Modal title: Bulk Stock Adjustment
- 4Under Stock, choose Add Stock or Reduce Stock
- 5Fill the Stock Details table — Product Name, Total QTY, Unit, Adjustment Date, Description
- 6Click Submit — success: Stock has been Adjusted Successfully!
When to use it
Opening after import
Imported items often need opening quantities — select them and Add Stock in bulk.
Cycle / count
After a physical count, Add or Reduce Stock across many SKUs with one Adjustment Date.
Audit trail
Movements appear in each item’s Transaction History (including Opening Slip type where applicable).
Opening Slip also appears as a Transaction Type filter on Item Transaction History — use that view to audit opening-related movements after bulk or single stock posts.
Frequently asked
Is this the same as Stock Details on one item?+
Single-item Stock Details is ideal when defining one Opening Stock Balance and Low Stock Balance. Bulk Stock Adjustment is for many products at once (Add Stock / Reduce Stock).
Can I bulk-adjust services?+
Stock adjustment applies to products that hold quantity. Services do not use the Stock Details inventory model.
