Define Items & Services Fully
Item is where every product and service lives in Billoxy — prices, tax, units, stock, barcodes, and history — so invoices, purchases, and inventory always pull from one complete master.
What you can define completely
- Choose Product or Service as Item Type
- Set Sales Price, Purchase Price, Base Unit (+ conversion units), HSN/SAC Code, Gst Tax Rate, and optional CESS
- Classify products with Stock Type — Trading Product, Raw Material, Semi Finished, Finished Product (pair Finished with Manufacture)
- Capture Opening Stock Balance, As of Date, Location Info, and Low Stock Balance
- Generate and print Barcode labels; import via Excel or Global Library; adjust many items with Bulk Stock Adjustment (also under Stock)
- Card action Generate Sales Invoice → Sales Invoice; Finished goods show Product Cost tab from manufacture
- Open Transaction History for Opening Slip, Stock In/Out, sales, purchases, and more

Frequently asked
Is Item only for physical goods?+
No. Set Item Type to Service for non-stock services (SAC, tax, Service Group). Products get Stock Details and Stock Type.
Why set Low Stock Balance?+
It drives Dashboard Low Stock / Out of Stock KPIs so you reorder before you sell out.
