Stock In, Low Stock & Out of Stock
Three inventory KPI cards count healthy stock, items below your threshold, and items at zero — Low Stock follows the Low Stock Balance you set on each item.
Inventory KPI cards
- Stock In — count of items that are in healthy stock
- Low Stock — count of items at or below the low-stock threshold you configured
- Out of Stock — count of items with no remaining quantity
- Each card can show a change indicator (up/down) versus the previous period from the API
- Use these cards as a daily inventory health check before you create sales invoices

Configure Low Stock on the item page
- 1Open Items → create or edit an item
- 2Go to the stock section on the item form
- 3Set Low Stock Balance (activate low-stock tracking if shown)
- 4Save the item — Billoxy stores this as the item’s minimum level
- 5When quantity falls to that level or below, the item contributes to the Dashboard Low Stock count
Why this matters
Per-item rules
A slow-moving spare and a fast-selling SKU can each have their own Low Stock Balance.
Early warning
Low Stock rises before you hit zero — reorder before Out of Stock grows.
Out of Stock
Zero-qty items are counted separately so you can prioritise restock or hide them from sales.
After changing Low Stock Balance on several items, refresh the Dashboard — KPI counts recalculate from current quantities vs each item’s configured minimum.

Where is Low Stock Balance set?+
On the item page stock settings: Low Stock Balance (web). On mobile, activate Low Stock Track and enter Low Stock Balance under item stock details.
Is the threshold global for all items?+
No — it is per item. Dashboard Low Stock is the count of items currently at or below their own configured level.
Does mobile show all three cards?+
Mobile Inventory typically highlights Stock In and Low Stock; Out of Stock is available in the full web Dashboard KPI row.
