DesktopReports & GSTR
Use the Reports group for Sales Summary, Purchase Summary, Expense Summary, Sales Purchase Total, Order Summary, and Data Transfer logs. GST users open GSTR at `/reports/gstr` to create GSTR-1 / GSTR-3B / GSTR-4 for a period, then Generate, Download, or Delete. Most reports support period filters and export.
Sales vs Purchase by Item
The sales–purchase total report compares per-item sales against purchase so you can see movement and margin pressure at SKU level for the period.
Per-item view
- Sales quantity / amount per item from sales documents
- Purchase quantity / amount per item from purchase documents
- Side-by-side comparison for the same period filter
- Item masters are defined under Item

- 3Scan items with high sales but low purchase (or the reverse) for stock or pricing follow-up
- 4Export for deeper spreadsheet analysis
Pair this report with Stock movements when sales vs purchase gaps do not match warehouse reality.
Frequently asked
Why is an item blank on one side?+
It may have only sales or only purchases in the period — or the item was created after some historical docs used another SKU.
