Multi-Account per Bank

One bank branch can hold many accounts — flip the card to compare balances, then open Transaction Details on the exact account you need.

How multi-account works

  • Parent record = bank + branch (IFSC) + phone
  • Children = one or more bank accounts (name, number, currency, opening balance, status, credit-card flag)
  • Flip card back lists every account with its own Balance
  • Transaction history opens on the accountId — not the bank parent alone
  • Edit bank → Bank Accounts tab → add another account block and Save

Multi-account keeps current, savings, and card accounts under one branch without duplicate bank masters.

Why it matters

1

Clear posting

Collections to operating account stay separate from a credit-card account.

2

Clear balances

Each account shows its own Balance on the card back and in history.

3

Clear audits

Bank Account - Transaction Details is always for one account’s ledger.

Tip

Name accounts clearly (e.g. Current – Ops, Savings – Reserve) so Collection/Payment modals and Cash Transfer destinations are easy to pick.

Frequently asked

Can accounts use different currencies?+

Yes — each account block has its own Currency. Conversion helpers appear when posting amounts that need account-currency display.
