Party New Transaction uses the shared finance slip model — keep Bank/Cash accounts defined before posting.
Tip

Excel export is available on the party history toolbar when you need a spreadsheet of the ledger for follow-up or your accountant. Prefer Collection for customers and Payment for suppliers so Outstanding Collection / Payment stay clear.

Frequently asked

Is this the same as a party statement report?+

Party - Transaction Details is the interactive ledger. There is no separate party-statement-only screen — use this view (and Download on rows) for day-to-day history.

Why can’t I delete an Opening Balance line?+

Opening Balance rows are protected on the ledger. Adjust opening balance from party Additional Details when setting up, not by deleting ledger lines.
