Smart Notifications & Alerts

Billoxy Notifications combines an easy in-app inbox with a flexible rules engine. Enable the alerts that matter — low stock, party balance limits (len-den), overdue payment reminders, or day-open/day-close digests. Set rules, scope, channels, and recipients from Settings → Notifications. Built-in system rules stay available — customize or turn them off anytime, but you never lose them.

Deliver updates via in-app bell, email, or WhatsApp — and decide exactly who gets notified. SMS is marked Coming Soon inside the app.

Channels

  • In-app — instant updates via the bell icon and notifications page inside Billoxy (Active by default)
  • Email — send to the business owner, customers, party contacts, or custom team emails (Active by default)
  • WhatsApp — instant WhatsApp alerts to customers or team members once connected under Settings
  • SMS — marked as Coming Soon inside the app

Route critical business alerts to the primary account owner.

Use the contact on the Party master for outward updates.

Enable WhatsApp delivery

  1. 1Connect your business WhatsApp account under Settings (WhatsApp settings)
  2. 2Open Settings → Notifications
  3. 3On each rule, enable the WhatsApp channel and pick recipients
  4. 4Save — alerts can now route to WhatsApp alongside in-app and email
Tip

Document preview share templates still live under Settings → WhatsApp. Notifications rules control when automated alerts fire; WhatsApp templates shape message wording for share/auto-send flows.

Which delivery channels are available right now?+

In-app bell, Email, and WhatsApp (once your WhatsApp account is connected). SMS delivery will be available soon.

Will I receive notifications via email as well as in-app?+

Yes — as long as Email is enabled for that specific rule. Every rule has independent toggles for each channel.
